Serving dinner to people experiencing homelessness at Old First Reformed Church in Philadelphia

Old First Reformed Church in Philadelphia offers a weekly dinner for people experiencing homelessness, and they need our help to make it a success on April 21.

Old First provides a welcoming space for 30+ guests from the unhoused community.

It’s an honor to serve them and spend an afternoon bringing joy to those who need it most. Let’s show them they matter by filling their hearts with compassion and their stomachs with a warm and nourishing meal (plus dessert!)

There are a few ways to make a meaningful impact by taking action, such as cooking or donating food or directly volunteering to serve the guests at Old First.

For those going to Old First, we usually meet in the church parking lot around 3 p.m. to load the cars with food and get on the road. We arrive around 4 p.m. to heat up the meal and dinner begins at 5. The guests take care of cleanup, washing dishes and putting away the tables and chairs.

Keep an eye out for the signup and mark your calendar for April 21 to visit Old First!
