at Valley Forge

Middle School and Senior High youth are invited to attend “SMBC”, their Sunday Morning Breakfast Club (one for each age group) where they enjoy juice and bagels or muffins during their morning church school discussions.  Children and youth begin the worship service with the congregation at 10:30am, and at Children’s Sharing Time, our youth leave for SMBC.  Of course, the youth are always welcome to remain in worship with their families for the entire service.

Sunday Morning Breakfast Club (SMBC) 2 classes:

- SMBC/Middle School – this class is for grades 5th through 8th

- SMBC/ Senior High – this class is for grades 9th through 12th

The curriculum and discussions are faith based, with insight into day to day Christian living. All our classes are led by a core of dedicated church members with two adults per class.

In addition to the Sunday School experience, our youth enjoy doing service projects, church lock-ins and a mission trip for one week every other summer.  Opportunities to share in the worship service by leading the Children’s sermon, lighting the Christ Candle, ushering and reading scripture are all offered as a way for the Youth to serve the Lord as they grow in their church experience.

The highlight of each year is the Christmas party our youth provide for the Bethany Children’s Home.  The youth organize the gift donations and share a Saturday afternoon in mid-December with the children, providing food, fun and a lot of “oohs and ahhs” as the gifts are opened!
