Wednesday Night Spiritual Life Group

This group meets at UCCVF 7:30-8:30 p.m.. Each week we begin with prayer, read a portion of scripture from the book of the Bible that we are discussing at that time.  We then we discuss what the story meant in its own time, how it informs our understandings of Jesus and his community, and how these stories can form and shape us in our time.  Pastor Michael facilitates the conversation.  Come and see!

Thursday Morning Spiritual Life Group

Grief Support Group

Pastor Michael leads a monthly Grief Recovery group here at UCC/VF for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one and are grieving. Please check the calendar for the next meeting time.

FELLOWSHIP GROUPS

The Caring Crafters on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. We meet at a church member’s home to create items for charity. No crafting skill is necessary to join the group! We have lots of new projects! We will also have a table at the Alternative Gift Market again this year to help raise funds to be donated to local charities. Come and check it out!

The Monthly Dinner Out Group meets monthly at local eateries for fun and fellowship. Members are asked to sign up to pick a place to eat and organize the meal. If you would like to be included on the email list to be notified of the next dinner, pleas contact the church office.

UCCVF Bridge Group - We meet once a month at various locations. All are welcome - any level of expertise is invited from novice to experienced. It is a social group. The next meeting will be held early next month. Dessert and coffee or tea will be served and then we start playing cards. Contact Phil Clark for more info.
